The Transformative Health & Justice Research Cluster of UBC puts their heads, hearts and hands together to anti-stigmatize and positively change the criminal justice system. This community of people with lived experiences and research professionals embodies the change they want to see. As part of the Vancouver Design Nerds (VDN), I co-designed and led this strategic session with Jesi Carson. In which the cluster revisioned their horizon, celebrated successes and formulated actions.

Together with representatives of the research cluster we customized the VDN Design Jam to best fit their purpose and intentions, ensuring the event led to both connection and constructive dialogue. The outcomes were bundled and presented in a written report and captured in visuals and photographs to support the cluster in their communication and actions moving forwards.
