The ‘red numbers’ of a specific district urged a social housing corporation to take action. But what are the stories behind these statics? Together with a co-worker I went door knocking to connect and find answers with the people, who call this neigborhood their home.


The project fundament was:
– Participatory research, including needs assesments through interviews and engagement surveys.
– Stakeholder management, systems mapping and workshops with partners of the corporations
– Design interventions, such as a co-designed neigborhood day and community building sessions with various residents and representatives of the corporation, municipality and support services.
The outcomes of this project were two fold.
1. Delivery of a strategic report including research insights and an operational plan for the coming year.
2. Implementing a human-centered mindset and way of doing within the Social Housing Corporation.
